歲末，西伯利亞高壓(蒙古高壓)寒流嚴重侵襲，範圍擴及整個東亞，受影響的國家包括台灣、中國、日本、南韓等，造成人民和農漁業的損失，民間稱為霸王寒流。

揮軍霸王冷城邦，富戶昇溫暖倚窗。
霜結農災傾果穗，冰封漁害靜川江。
霰披萬葉灰裝鎖，雪覆千山白繡降。
不識薄衣辛苦事，窮人無米凍空缸。
