![]() Kaohsiung Lantern Festival is an annual event hosted by the Kaohsiung City Government.
Around 7 to 9 million visitors come to Kaohsiung Lantern Festival every year. This year is the first time many artists invited to participate in designing the Lantern Festival except traditional lanterns display and students’ lantern competition. The Love River of Kaohsiung has made a romantic and beautiful impression on the people and Kaohsiung Lantern Festival has been celebrated for years. This event has become a favorite of bringing family together during the period of Chinese lunar New Year.
