The humpback whale is a species of baleen whale. One of the larger rorqual species, adults range in length from 12–16 m and weigh about 36,000 kg . Humpbacks frequently breach, throwing two-thirds or more of their bodies out of the water and splashing down on their backs.

座頭鯨是其中一個較大的鬚鯨亞目的物種，成年的體長12-16米，重達36,000公斤。座頭鯨以其躍出水面姿勢、超長的前翅與複雜的叫聲而聞名。
