Zika virus，In 2015 to Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, and South America, where the Zika outbreak has reached pandemic levels.As of 2016, the illness cannot be prevented by drugs or vaccines.As of February 2016, there is evidence that Zika fever in pregnant women can cause abnormal brain development in their fetuses by mother-to-child transmission, which may result in miscarriage or microcephaly. 
茲卡病毒，經由斑蚊（尤其是埃及斑蚊）的傳播而使受蚊叮咬的人罹患茲卡病毒感染症。2015年起茲卡病毒疫情於中南美洲快速擴散，其中巴西甚至出現超過4,100例新生兒小頭畸形，懷疑與茲卡病毒相關。

嬰兒頭小孕畸形，南美頻傳禍不停。 
茲卡帶源疑覓隔，斑蚊攜毒橫行經。 
民間感染患燒病，醫界博研無藥靈。 
慈母心肝胎十月，盼祈骨肉樂歡齡。
