The Ganges, is a trans-boundary river of Asia which flows through the nations of India and Bangladesh.The 2,525 km river rises in the western Himalayas in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, and flows south and east through the Gangetic Plain of North India into Bangladesh, where it empties into the Bay of Bengal. It is the third largest river in the world by discharge.<br><br><br />

恆河是南亞的一條主要河流，流經印度北部及孟加拉。恆河被印度教徒視為聖河，也是河流周邊居民維持日常生活所需的命脈。印度教中也有稱為「恆河女神」的神祇。<br><br><br />
